Schiff explains why Obama's economic policies are flawed. Schiff believes massive inflation will occur which will greatly devalue the dollar due to enormous spending. This is scary stuff and unfortunately true.

Jindal came off like a dorky 8th grader reading a speech in front of his class. The GOP really better get its act together. Although, the delivery was terrible, the message was encouaging.

This weeks 60 Minutes featured a piece on buying America. The economic 'stimulus' package contains a section which greatly benefits the U.S. steel industry. Any infrastructure project funded by the 'stimulus' must use steel manufactured in the United States.

President Hugo Chavez won a huge victory today to further his socialist agenda in Venezuela. The people have voted to eliminate term limits which has opened to door for Chavez to run again and again.

From USA Today: "With 94% of the vote counted, 54% had voted in favor of the constitutional amendment, National Electoral Council chief Tibisay Lucena announced. Forty-six percent had voted against the measure to eliminate term limits on all public officials, too few to make up the distance with the remaining votes."

As scary as it may be, socialism is alive and well here and abroad.

New Hampshire State Representative Dan Itse discusses a resolution affirming State's rights based on Jeffersonian principles. 19 other states have similar resolutions.

As Obama and crew spend a fortune on what they saw fit, they are only allowing you to have $13 per week in tax breaks. So you get 13 bucks a week for a couple of months and the liberals spend money how they see fit. Sounds fair to the American people.

According to an article by Jim Abrams of the AP: "It includes Obama's signature "Making Work Pay" tax credit for 95 percent of workers, though negotiators agreed to trim the credit to $400 a year instead of $500 — or $800 for married couples, cut from Obama's original proposal of $1,000. It would begin showing up in most workers' paychecks in June as an extra $13 a week in take-home pay, falling to about $8 a week next January."

Glen Beck interviews Thomas Woods and Burton Folsom. Both men talk about how government spending will not work to recover the economy.

President Obama gives a stock politician response to A-Rod's steroid use. Basically it's all about the kids according to Obama. Along with "depressing news on top of what's been a flurry of depressing items when it comes to Major League Baseball. It tarnishes an entire era to some degree."

The whole news conference was depressing as a matter of fact as Obama tried to reassure his mess of a plan is the right course.

I mean, our new president has talked rightly about accountability and transparency. You know, that we all have to step up and be responsible. And, I think in this case, there needs to be some accountability and standards put in place."
